'09 Norman Arthritis Walk Honoree - Payton from Noble, OK
Payton fron Noble, OK has been chosen by the Arthritis Foundation, Oklahoma Chapter to be the 2009 Norman Arthritis Walk Youth Honoree.
Payton is a 4 year old with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (JRA). At two, she started to complain of pain in her hands. Her family noticed there was redness and swelling in her joints and they knew something wasn't right. She was diagnosed with JRA at the age of three. Since her diagnosis, Payton has tried several medications to relieve the pain and control her JRA. At times, the pain in her hands is so severe she can't even hold on to her mother's hand.
Please help Team Payton joining our team & raising funds or making an online contribution. With your help a cure can be found so little girls like Payton have hope for a brighter future.
